Angel Breakfast - will be held on December 1, 2007 at 8:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for children who are two (as of December 1st), three, four, five or currently attending Kindergarten. Each child receives a personal invitation to this wonderful, Christ-centered event. Here are our reasons for the event: Dear Parent,
To a young child, sitting on Santa’s lap is exciting, but we hope that “eating breakfast with the angels” will be even more of a treat and will give your family the opportunity to look beyond the tinsel to the manger. It’s our hope that your child will come, hear the angels’ story and be as thrilled about the message as the shepherds were 2,000 years ago. Each child is
asked to bring a canned good or a new/gently used toy to be given to charity. When children arrive they are greeted by angels who show them the way to a beautifully decorated Fellowship Hall where kid friendly foods have been prepared. Advent crafts are made to help the children count down the days to the Holy birth. Children and their guest’s picture are taken in “Angel Way” so that they leave with a momento of the event. If you are
not currently attending our church or the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) program and would like more information about this event or an invitation to attend, please call Cindy Reeder, Christian Education/Program Facilitator, @ 301-733-0144, Ext. 3. . |
