If you enjoy singing or playing an instrument, our Music Department is the place for you. First Christian Church has a top notch Music Department, full of fun, talent, and the desire to worship our Lord through song. We have choirs for every age group, as well as Bell Choirs and a Brass Ensemble.

Cherub Choir - For children ages 3 through 1 ^st grade we have the Cherub choir. Children do not need to know how to read music, however they will work on beginning musical terms. This group sings monthly at Worship.  Practice is on Thursdays from 7:00-7:30 PM.

Crusaders Choir - This choir is for 2^nd through 6^th graders.  This group has their own music and folders and sings monthly. Emphasis is on correct vocal technique as well as more complex musical terms. Practice is on Thursdays from 6:30-7:00 PM.

Contemporary Choir - The Contemporary choir is for youths in grades six through twelve.  This group has their own music and folders and sings monthly.  More advance musical concepts will be covered and musical styles will vary from old to new! Practice is on Thursday nights from 7:30-8:00 PM.

Chancel Choir - This is our adult choir that sings every Sunday at the 9:30 service. Repertoire varies from easy to difficult, old to new.  New members are always welcome. Although not required, some musical background does help!  Remember, those who sing, pray twice! Practice is on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:00 PM.

Youth Chimes - This bell and chime choir is for 2^nd through 6^th graders.  Children learn the musical and physical techniques needed to successfully play chimes and hand bells. Practice is on Thursday from 6:00-6:30 PM.

Disciple Bells - This is an adult bell choir always looking for new regular and substitute members. Some musical background does help, although not necessary. This group performs monthly during worship.  Practice is Wednesday from 6:15-7:15 PM.

Brass Ensemble - This choir is for brass players of any age interested in playing in special services.  Two-three years background is recommended.  Practice is on Thursday from 8:00-9:00 PM.

Reunion Orchestra - This ensemble meets once a year in the spring for the church’s anniversary. Any instrumentalist of any age is welcome.  Watch the bulletin and newsletter for details.

Groups and Soloists - We are always looking for interested musicians and/or vocalists to  perform during the second service.
